Questions
Is a 100 score a guarantee of ranking?
No. This is the technical floor: a page that fails these checks is held back no matter how good the content is. Passing them removes the obstacles; content and links do the rest.
Why does the score flag my canonical?
A canonical that points at a different URL tells search engines to index that other page instead. It is right for duplicates and wrong for a page you want ranked. Most pages should point at themselves.
Does structured data help?
It makes you eligible for rich results (FAQ, product, review, breadcrumb) and helps engines understand the page. It does not raise the ranking on its own, but rich results get more clicks at the same position.
