Remove the collaborator from Plausible

Complete these steps when the collaborator should no longer see Plausible data.

Removal Steps

1. Open the relevant site dashboard and go to Settings → Team.
2. Find the collaborator’s account and click Remove (trash icon).
3. Confirm the removal. Repeat for each Plausible site where the collaborator had access.
4. If Plausible is self-hosted, ensure any system-level accounts or SSH keys are revoked separately.

Documentation

• Capture a screenshot or export of the Team list after removal.
• Log the change in your IAM tracker with the request ID, approval, and date.
• Notify the collaborator’s engagement lead that access has been revoked.

Clean-Up

• Transfer ownership of shared reports or email digests the collaborator’s account managed.
• Rotate API tokens or webhook secrets if the account used them.
• Update monitoring or alerting integrations to remove the collaborator’s contact info.
